About Us 👋
A group of 3rd graders on a mission to make the world a little greener
Hi! We're Mary, Meadow, Eleonora, Elena, and Anyana — a group of 3rd graders from Puerto Rico. We love spending time outdoors — swimming at the beach, hiking through the rainforest, and exploring tide pools.
One day in class, we learned about litter and how it hurts our oceans, our animals, and our neighborhoods. We saw pictures of sea turtles tangled in plastic bags, and beaches covered in trash. It made us really sad — but it also made us want to do something about it.
We looked at each other and said, "We need to help!" And just like that, Green Team Kids was born! A team of girls who decided that if nobody else was going to clean up our world, we'd start doing it ourselves.
Now we pick up trash at the beach, plant trees in our neighborhoods, and spread the word to kids all across Puerto Rico and beyond. Our goal? To show everyone that you don't have to be a grown-up to make a difference. Because when we work together, even small hands can make a BIG change!

Plant trees and take care of green spaces to give animals homes and clean our air.

Teach other kids about recycling, saving water, and protecting nature.
Build Community
Build a team of young eco-warriors who care about our planet and help each other.
Make a Difference
Show the world that kids can make a REAL difference when we work together!
Offer Tools to Help
Give people what they need to jump in! We share cleanup kits and gear so anyone can start making a difference in their own neighborhood.
